Ya' know...Hollow Acres Golf Center is open for it's 51st season and I'm thinking of how, on a daily basis, we see the generation gaps between grandparents, parents and children bridged through the shared enjoyment of a game of golf and a little ice cream.  I love to see families come out to play miniature and Par3 golf together and enjoy an ice cream cone or an old-fashioned malted milkshake, hand-dipped and spun on our old Hamilton-Beach three-cup mixer.  Those are the memories that really stick with you all of your life.  Can't top it with a video game, cool tweet, a facebook update or a smartphone app.  So let's start this over.
